Kyoto Talk 007: Moving

Printer-friendly versionPrinter-friendly version

Notes: In China they put knotted tassels on every thing that moved. Weapons, fans, the scholar’s scepter, and musical instruments were often decorated thusly.

Text: Asian Knots... Everything that moved

Annotations: The files are called
sword knot 3.jpg (yes, with the spaces in it)
hel sword.jpg (picture of the swordswoman, and also with spaces in the filename)

Initially I thought to look for something like "sword knot" but ended up focusing down on "tai chi sword tassel" or something along those lines. I was hoping to get a really nice tasseled sword picture, preferably in action, but these were the best of the ones I found.
