Taking a single plafond knot I started manipulating it to see where the spaces in it for alteration were. First pull out the side loops. This makes it more clear the macrame style square knot heritage of the plafond.

Next I pulled the incoming and outgoing cords out of the top and bottom square knot structures, leaving the sauvastika structure, as expected. What I want is another sauvastika centre inserted into a rectangular frame, what happens if I do that?
